Deirdre Hade in the 'i am gr
ful club'
Deirdre Hade is a beautiful soul. She is a mystic, spiritual teacher, healer and the founder of Radiance Healing and Radiance Meditation™. After her mother was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer when Deirdre was 15, Deirdre with her mother began developing a method of energy work to assist her mother. At this time she was given an original first copy of "A Course in Miracles" and began studying the text in earnest. Her mother lived 11 years longer than was thought possible. At the loss of her mother when Deirdre was in her twenties, she poured herself into spiritual study. Twenty years later she received her awakening while in deep meditation on the energies of Kabbalah. She received, "Radiance", and is dedicated to sharing the concept of "Radiance" with the world. Deirdre is a leader in the "Great American Awakening" movement, and teaches enlightenment.
Deirdre has studied Chasidic thought and Kabbalah for over ten years with Rabbi Mordecai Finley, Rabbi of Ohr ha Torah Synagogue in Los Angeles, CA, where she is a member. Deirdre has studied and practiced Cranial Sacral Healing with John Walsh and Judith Johnston. Her mentor in the field of personal psychology is Dr. LaWanda Staenberg of Beverly Hills, CA. Deirdre practiced Vedic healing and energy light work for fifteen years as a disciple of an Indian Master. She was initiated into an ancient mystical order in Varanase, India, where she received her Hindu name Dahya Yogini (Merciful Heart).
She began as a spiritual choreographer for ballet and modern dance. She was the founder of the Celebrations Dance Theater in Memphis, TN, choreographing and dancing in performance works to sacred music. Deirdre was the director and choreographer for the Memphis Ballet Company, the Southern Opera Theatre and Opera Memphis. She choreographed and danced for the Banff Center for the Performing Arts in Banff, Canada, was a scholarship recipient with the Robert Joffery Ballet School in NYC and danced with NYC Opera. Deirdre also choreographed and danced in Stephen Halpern's first music video, Summer Wind.
Deirdre is the founder of the Foundation for Radiance, dedicated to bringing a healthy, serene and peaceful life to children and adults who have experienced trauma or injury. She is the co-founder of My Angel Pillow™ and the founder of the Adopt a Wing™ program bringing Angel Pillows™ to children in hospitals.
She has been honored by the Circles of Light as a F.L.O.W.E.R.S. (The Formidable Love Of Women Elegantly Revealing Sisterhood). Past recipients include Dr. Dorothy Height, who also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal; Claudette C'Faison, founder of Youth At-Risk, Inc.; Bettie Spruill, Co-Founder of Vistar Integrated Programs and Yess!; and Iyanla Vanzant, Founder and Director of Inner Visions Institute of Spiritual Development.
