While Janet Bray Attwood and Chris Attwood have followed their own passions on and off throughout their lives, it has only been the last six years that this has become the focal point of everything they do.
They teach The Passion Test and the insights that our lives of study and experience have led them to. They love seeing people light up when they realize that they really CAN do things that matter to them.
And the biggest awakening for them has been realizing that by supporting others in living their passions, they have been forced to live those principles themselves!
From their times presenting The Passion Test to members of the Enlightened Millionaire Program that they created with Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen, to training Passion Test facilitators this past year. Today their lives are a daily miracle, and it's just the result of consistently choosing in favour of their passions, day by day.
One of the key things they tell their facilitators is that the greatest benefit of helping others discover their passions is having no choice but to live the Passion Test principles yourself.
Passion Arises from the Heart
Passion arises from the heart and the purpose of The Passion Test process is to connect you with the things you love most. This includes the things you love doing, the people you love being around, the places where you love to spend time, the kinds of environments you love being in, and the things you love having. Meaning arises from living a life connected to what you love.
Thus, the real purpose of The Passion Test is to help you open your heart. A great sage once said:
"If you could only love enough, you would be the happiest and most powerful being in the world."
When the Impossible Becomes Possible
Chris and Janet were once married and are no longer, yet they remain best friends and business partners. It has not been an easy path, yet it has been deeply rewarding for them. Today Chris has remarried his beloved Doe (Doris), and as they prepared to have their first child, Doe asked Janet to be it's godmother.
How can that be possible?
Only by recognizing that an open, loving heart is the most important element for a happy, fulfilled life.
While today all three of them travel throughout the world, live in remarkable places, have the freedom to do what they want, when they want, it is the rewards that come from living with an open heart that have been the greatest blessing in their lives.
